GRENACHES DU MONDE

The Coldibetto farm estate has been participating in the “Grenaches du Monde” international event since 2017.

The event gathers all existing vines from all over the world and belonging to the family called “Grenaches”.

The type of vine that we cultivate comes from this large family and is called “Gamay del Trasimeno”: D.O.C. of the “hills of Trasimeno”.

Our E-trusco wine, produced for the first time in 2015, is born from the Gamay del Trasimeno grapes. Vinified in steel in order not to alter the already complex notes of its perfume and its organoleptic structure, it ages in the bottle that from one up to eight years, and sometimes even more.

In 2020, the edition of “Grenaches du Monde” was held in the French region of “Languedoc” (in Italian “Linguadoca”) famous for producing over a third of French wines (Languedoc-Roussillon).

Coldibetto participates in such edition with his E-trusco (100% Gamay del Trasimeno) and is awarded the SILVER MEDAL by a commission made up of more than 80 judges; proud of our achievement, we will continue to work hard to improve ourselves and achieve even higher quality.

CORCIANO CASTELLO DI VINO

An exceptional event where you can find Coldibetto wines is “Corciano Castello di Vino”.

The last edition took place in October 2019 and we hope it will be held again anytime soon.

The event takes place in one of the most beautiful and evocative Umbrian medieval villages: Corciano.

Local and D.O.C. “Hills of Trasimeno” -based food and wine tastings are set up in Corciano’s narrow and fairytale alleys. “Corciano Castello di Vino” represents a truly unique event where the territory and super-local products offer an unforgettable experience.
